Ages Old Quest
Since time immemorial, nations have sought for peace in the Middle East. Conflicts have plagued these nations since ancient times. Nations and religions have vied for control of this region of the world, possibly in hopes of directing the history of human events based on prophecy. Religions of the world wage war for control of the Middle East : it’s government; it’s religions and holy sites; it’s customs and it’s people. Nations of the world strive to maintain control of every aspect of this part of the world. Entire wars and conflicts wage over the Temple Mount, the holy of holies.
Additionally, wars and conflicts are waged over the historical waters of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. These rivers stand paramount in the prophetical history of the world. Entire civilizations have risen and fallen along the banks of these infamous rivers.
Why does any of this matter? Is the Middle East relative to current events in our world today?
The Middle East is the possibly the single most driving factor for most nations to achieve peace today. The ultimate survival of humankind depends on the prophetical events that are unfolding in this region of the world. America’s presidential candidates base their campaign on peace in Middle East. Look at today’s headlines:

These are just a couple articles available on a google search. I have read about and studied the Middle East since I was a young woman. I study devoutly about prophecy both Biblical and other holy writ. This is the reason I have chosen this topic for my blog.
I welcome feedback to all my articles posted here. Thank you for reading.
