The Patriarch Abraham
The epoch tale of the family of Yahweh starts its tribal beginnings with Father Patriarch Abraham. After the birth of Abraham’s son Isaac, the man of God strived to please God in all ways that he could. Abraham was so grateful for the blessing of having a son with Sarah in such an old age, he blessed the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and sought God’s counsel continually. Rarely today does one see such devotion to God as exhibited by Patriarch Abraham. His life is an emulation of true humanity in its diverse joys, passions, struggles, sorrows and triumphs.
Abraham has been one of the main inspirations throughout my life, aside from Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father God. My own grandfather taught the ways of Abraham and honoring the tribal family precepts was an important custom in our family.
To investigate Abraham’s life, begin at the time of his youth to examine how his life was marked as unique and to study how he showed his faith in those early years. It will be important to understand when Abraham realized he would become the Patriarch of nations to time immemorial.
